Paul Cook, M.D.
Board Certified
Dr. Paul I. Cook is renowned for the plethora of expertise he has established since beginning his practice in Houston over 25 years ago. He completed medical school and residency training at the University of Texas in Houston where he served as Academic Chief Resident in 1991-92. Dr. Cook was recognized as University of Texas’ outstanding Chief OB/GYN Resident in 1992. Since then he has built one of the most popular practices in Houston. As a tenured physician, he still maintains an active role educating future doctors as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Medical School. His academic achievements also include two awards for Outstanding Clinical Faculty in 1997 and 1998. Dr. Cook has also been honored with the Physician of the Year award from Memorial Hermann Hospital in 2003. He continues to be recognized annually, since 2005, as a Texas Super Doctor by Texas Monthly Magazine.
Dr. Cook specializes in routine and high-risk obstetrics, infertility management, advanced gynecologic surgery, laparoscopic and robotic surgery, as well as vaginal and incontinence procedures. His patients appreciate the time he puts into each of his visits with them.
When not being a Super Doctor, Dr. Cook enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife and four teenage sons.
Roz Nanda, M.D.
Board Certified
Dr. Roz Nanda joined the Ob/Gyn Center in 2002. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Michigan and her medical degree at Finch University of Health Sciences at the Chicago Medical School. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Nanda, since 1995 has been in practice in Houston at the Macgregor Medical Group. That same year she received the Arthur M. Faris research award as well as the TAP pharmaceuticals Award for Excellence as a Chief Resident. Dr. Nanda was also elected Senior Resident Class Representative in 1995. Her award list continues, as she was named one of America’s Top Ob/Gyn by the Consumers Research Council of America in 2003 and has been recognized annually as a Texas Super Doctor by Texas Monthly Magazine since 2015. She is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Medical School.
Dr. Nanda’’s clinical interests include routine and high-risk obstetrics, weight management, sexual dysfunction, menopause, hormone replacement therapy and complex gynecologic surgery. Her patients know and trust her for her detail oriented thoroughness when relaying information to them. Dr. Nanda’s spare time is spent indulging in a book, running, taking spin classes or watching football.
Ziad Melhem, M.D.
Board Certified
Dr. Ziad Melhem joined The Ob/Gyn Center in 2004. He received a B.S. from American University of Beirut in 1993, and an M.D. from American University of Beirut in 1997. Dr. Melhem began his obstetrics and gynecology residency at American University of Beirut Medical Center, where he spent two years. He then completed his residency at the University of Texas Medical School Houston in 2004. Here he received the Organon Resident Research Award for Outstanding Research in Women’s Health. Dr. Melhem has since been named one of America’s Top Ob/Gyn by the Consumers Research Council of America in 2008 and 2010. He has also received the patient’s choice award from vitals.com every year since 2008, as well as numerous compassionate doctor recognitions, and a Top 10 Doctor award in 2014.
Dr. Melhem’s clinical interests include routine and high-risk obstetrics, infertility management, uterine fibroids, laparoscopic and robotic management of endometriosis, and urinary incontinence procedures. He is loved by his patients not only for his expertise, but also for his sense of humor. He speaks English, Arabic, French and Spanish.
Outside of making his patients laugh, Dr. Melhem enjoys traveling and cooking.

Dr. Nanda is an excellent doctor. She delivered both my boys. She spotted problems with my first pregnancy right away and the same with the second. I am very comfortable with her and highly recommend her.
I love the staff at the Ob/Gyn centre! Dr. Davis is AMAZING and makes you feel so comfortable! She took care of me throughout my pregnancy and postpartum. The entire time I was in her care she went above and beyond expectations…Even on her off days! 5 stars for sure!
Dr. Melhem is the best doctor I have had. He really cares about his patients and has a way of making even the toughest situations a little easier to handle. I am going through a sad ordeal and don’t think I could get through it w/o him. Oh and I hear the other two doctors are amazing as well, as is the staff!! 🙂 Just had to share.
